JetBlue will add a second destination from Edinburgh Airport after confirming it will operate a summer service to Boston this summer.
The daily service from Edinburgh will commence 23 May to 25 October, flying daily on an A321neo. It comes as the airline also extends its Edinburgh to New York JFK service from 9 May to 25 October – this is following the success of the route that launched earlier last summer.
Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport said: “This is great news as JetBlue adds a second destination from Edinburgh Airport, providing even more connections between Scotland and the USA. The success of JetBlue’s Edinburgh to New York JFK route has demonstrated to the airline the clear demand for transatlantic travel from Scotland’s busiest airport, and we are delighted to see them add Boston to their schedule as well as extend that hugely successful JFK service.”
